Our Story

Madum began with a simple love for sharing good food and creating lasting memories with friends.

As a couple, we started attending gatherings and wanted to bring a dish that would strengthen the bond between old friends and be the spark for new ones, and it was none other than good ol' dumplings. Folding them together became a cherished tradition, an activity everyone partook in and shared stories and laughter with each fold.

The intense & rich spice of Mala whet appetites and got everyone instantly hooked. Dumplings was always requested and soon became a staple, and that was when we realized we might be on to something truly worth sharing.

In 2021, Madum was born. What started as a passion project grew into a small venture and weekends transformed into dumpling making sessions, fulfilling orders for gatherings big and small.

But just as things were taking off, life took an unexpected turn - one of us was in a serious car accident.

We had to pause everything to focus on caregiving and healing, facing an uncertain future together. It was a challenging time, but we’re incredibly grateful for a full recovery. Through it all, we reminded ourselves each day to cherish what truly matters.

During the hiatus, customers reached out, asking if we’d ever bring back Madum - and if they could still buy from us. Truthfully, we couldn’t stop thinking about it either. The spark was still there, and so was our love for these dumplings.

We realized that this little dumpling business was more than a venture; it was a way to connect, to share something we love, and to bring a piece of joy into others’ lives.

So here we are! Back with a renewed purpose and a deeper appreciation for this journey, we are excited to share these flavors and adventure with you, one bite-sized dumpling at a time.
